Getting my electrolytes in at Jax Veg Fest (vegan outdoor festival) yesterday! Hydration is KEY to healing and coconuts are wonderful for that! Coconuts are rich in potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium.
💚 DID YOU KNOW…..
🥥Helps replenish Electrolytes – Because coconut water is high in potassium, and such a great electrolyte replacement, it has even been used for IV hydration in certain emergency situations.
🥥Lowers high blood pressure – The potassium in coconut water counteracts the effect of sodium in the body, helping lower blood pressure.
🥥Reduces cholesterol – Researchers believe that the benefit of potassium, calcium and magnesium content in coconut water, all electrolytes that play a role in helping maintain heart health can help reduce cholesterol levels.
🥥Reduces stress & muscle tension – Some of the electrolytes found in coconut water, specifically calcium and magnesium, may help with stress and muscle tension. Adequate calcium intakes may help keep our all our muscles relaxed. Magnesium has been nicknamed the “relaxation” mineral. Its primary function is in the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of the nervous system that helps us relax. It also helps with the formation of serotonin, the “feel good hormone.”
💚🥥💚🥥 Get your hydration in with fresh coconuts! If you can’t find them fresh, always look for brands that are refrigerated without any preservatives in them…it should only say “coconut water” on the ingredients list.🌴
This nano-enhanced liposomal hemp oil has been such a great healing botanical that I’ve added to my regimen. Why is this specific oil so amazing? Well it’s 6x more absorbable than other oils on the market & is 90% more bioavailable. Most hemp/cbd oils are 6-10% – so you’d have to take more to get the desired effect. “Nano-enhanced liposomal delivery” means that it can break down the particles in the oil without changing the molecular structure into small liposomes. This process helps the cannabinoids go more directly into the part of the cell where they need to be to work their magic! 💫
This oil helps to balance out the nervous system, taking us out of that constant “fight or flight” mode and puts us in “rest & repair” mode. It balances the endocrine system which is responsible for our hormones that control our mood, sleep, appetite and metabolism. It’s also an immuno regulator – when the immune system is suppressed it bumps it up, when it’s overactive it suppresses it.
***This oil has virtually no THC, the psychoactive compound found in cannabis, but only CBD, the healing compound. Learn more about the difference between Hemp & Marijuana HERE
🌿 I’ve personally experienced deeper sleep, less itch & inflammation, even better digestion, deeper mental clarity & focus, and anxiety & overwhelming feelings of stress have been lifted! I’m a full time care giver to my mom as she recovers from a spinal cord injury, and it can be a lot at times…all of the responsibility and support that I have to give. I’ve had many stressful breakdowns in the past but I noticed when I started taking this oil, that I can just deal with anything that comes my way much better. I haven’t had emotional breakdowns like how I did in the past! It’s been such a blessing in my life and I’m always so excited to share it with everyone!🙏🏽
I WISH I had this in the worst stages of TSW (depression & anxiety was high, sleepless nights to where the sun was rising and I hadn’t slept a wink, hormones so out of wack from withdrawing from the topical steroids, and in constant pain, itch and inflammation in my body). I just know it will be a great healing tool for anyone, and especially those going through the intense detox symptoms in healing their eczema.

I’m so excited to check out Medical Medium’s new book Liver Rescue!🍎
Our livers work so hard for us to cleanse out the toxins in our daily lives from heavy metals, medication, drugs, alcohol, pesticides, viruses, old toxins from generations ago that have been passed down etc… Our livers can become sluggish from these toxins and from high fat and high protein diets, and it’s so important for us to give it some personal attention and allow it to cleanse and repair.💚
We all know for eczema, our internal elimination channels aren’t working optimally, so the burden is left on the skin (the largest elimination organ) to filter out. It’s critical for us to cleanse from the inside out, get our detox organs working the way they are intended to and in turn, the skin will heal! Check out this awesome info below from Anthony Williams and make sure to follow his instagram page for more gems on reclaiming your health!
I can’t wait to get into this book and use the super effective Ultimate Detox System (which focuses on detoxing the liver) alongside it! This system is the secret weapon of liver detoxing that is the first of its kind in the world! This system was crafted by the brilliant biochemist Dr. Chris Shade and has been over a decade in the making! It’s a 2-step system that supports the elimination of toxins and heavy metals from your body while minimizing their redistribution and reabsorption. It’s best to do the liver detox system in conjunction with taking the nano-enhanced liposomal hemp oil that I highly recommend as it puts the body in balance and takes you out of that constant “fight or flight” mode and puts us in a “rest, repair and digest” state where healing can finally take place!

🍎In the mood for apple pie?! 🥧Try out this super simple, yummy, healthy, sweet snack that legit tastes just like caramelly apple pie! 😋 I’ve simply sliced some organic gala apples and smushed some ooey gooey pitted dates on top with a sprinkling of cinnamon! This post is in honour of The Medical Medium ‘s apple challenge! Make sure to get more than one apple in a day for these amazing health benefits…
🍎Apples: Provide living water to support the liver’s hydration capabilities, so it can store the water and then release it back into the bloodstream when dehydration or dirty blood syndrome occurs. The fruit acids in apples help cleanse the liver by dispersing toxic films that build up inside its storage banks. Apples starve out bacteria, yeast, mold, other funguses, and viruses from the intestinal tract and liver. Great for dissolving gallstones. Apples also detox heavy metals and radiation from the body.
Dates: The intestinal tract builds up mucus due to low hydrochloric acid and bile production, and that can slow down the absorption of nutrients into the bloodstream. Dates expel and eliminate mucus, especially that produced by pathogens such as bacteria and fungus, from the colon. The sugars in dates feed the liver; they’re a great source of glucose for recovery and restoration that allows the liver to maximize its over 2,000 chemical functions.
🍎🍎🍎Lemme know if you try out this tasty sweet snack and how you liked it! 😜
I love me some ooey gooey black mission figs & when they are nice and ripe, they truly taste like jam! 😋They are amazing for our digestive tracts, which need to be in great working order to have clear, healthy skin!
Here’s some info on the benefits of figs from The Medical Medium’s book Life Changing Foods. I highly recommend this book, all of the detailed info on how powerful plant foods can be on our bodies is so amazing!
If you’re seeking answers for brain & gut health, look no further than the fig. It’s the ultimate tool for balancing these two intertwined aspects of well-being. Figs have unique phytochemicals that are bonded to minerals such as bioavailable potassium & sodium that specifically nourish & build neurotransmitters while also supporting neurons & synapses in the brain. It’s a powerful fruit for preventing Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dementia & other neurological diseases, including ALS. On the intestinal side, figs are, like dates, one of the most effective bowel-cleansing foods on the planet. The skins feed good gut bacteria & are also antiseptic, killing unproductive gut bacteria, parasites, mold, & toxic heavy metals, while the seeds get into intestinal crevices & destroy disease-causing bacteria, viruses, & funguses that hide in those pockets. The fruit’s pulp and fiber massage the intestinal lining & build up the digestive immune system to help you stop struggling with stomach pain and bloating. Figs are effective in alleviating all types of gut problems, including diverticulitis, appendix, inflammation, constipation, inflamed colon & complications from C.difficile. Figs are high in vitamins such as the B vitamins, which are specifically bonded to phytochemicals to reduce radiation in the body. Also abundant in trace minerals, micronutrients, antioxidants & more, figs are a wonder food for all manner of ills; they should never be overlooked. The next time you’re dealing with any health issue, think of figs as your secret weapon!
Green drinks are super hydrating, alkalizing, amazing for the skin, great for the digestion and detoxifying for the body. It’s a great way to get a good amount of dense minerals and vitamins in and it’s really refreshing!
Today I used celery, kale, ginger, apple, lemon and cilantro. If you don’t have a juicer, that’s ok! I used my Vitamix blender the strained it. 👍🏽 Give your body some raw green goodness today, your cells will thank you! 💚
These lil purple globes are a powerhouse fruit that is amazing for your health and your skin! It’s so important to have restorative, hydrating foods in your diet when healing from eczema. Grapes are amazing because they are fiber and water-rich which is great for cleansing the digestive tract and they are super alkaline for the liver and kidneys as they help to pull metabolic wastes from them. When these detox channels are filtering properly, then eczema can’t stand a chance! We must cleanse internally to see external healing. The last channel of elimination, the skin, will no longer have the heavy burden of detoxing once the internal channels of elimination are working the way they should. You can even do a full-on grape fast as it can be the most healing for detoxification. Check out more info on DETOXING WITH FRUIT.
Check out this info from the Medical Medium in his book Life Changing Foods: “Grapes shouldn’t be misunderstood as being too high in carbs, sugar, or calories to be good for us. It’s just the opposite. Like bananas, grapes are a 1st rate fruit that promotes wellness on the highest level. They are less sweet than we think; they are more defined by tartness, which is a key medicinal quality. That sourness indicates the presence of phytochemicals critical to kidney function. If you’ve ever heard that you have elevated creatinine levels, this means your kidneys have become compromised in their ability to remove and excrete waste products from the bloodstream. Grapes are the ultimate kidney tonic-their phytochemicals bind onto the wastes that the kidneys have trouble filtering. Like cherries, grapes are an amazing liver-cleansing food. Their phytochemicals are able to dislodge debris, processed food, & by-products that can clog up lobules in the liver. Digestive benefits: grape skins hold powerful micronutrients that expel parasites, mold & other unproductive fungi from the intestinal tract. Antioxidants such as malvidin & other anthocyanins (which explain grapes’ blue, black, dark red & purple shades) give grapes the power to fight & prevent most types of cancer. Grapes can expel radiation from the body; their amino acids such as histidine, methionine & cysteine work together with their anthocyanins to become a magnet that draws DDT & toxic heavy metals out of the liver, kidneys, spleen & other organs, plus they’re a potent antiviral for autoimmune disease, which is caused by the viral explosion. Finally, grapes are an outstanding energy food. They offer a critical boost, whether you’re an athlete, constantly on the go, or you’re a thinker-that is engaging your brain all day with cognitive tasks (& multitasking), trying to excel at a given project, or in need of fuel to come up with your next big idea.”
“When you feel isolated-living your life with little interaction or coping with shyness & yet yearning for a sense of belonging to a group that accepts you-make grapes a part of your life. Remember, grapes are bunched together. As each cluster grows on the vine, the little globes stay close to each other, connecting on both a physical & metaphysical level. Each grape adjusts to fit perfectly into place with those around it. Focus on this wonder when you select & eat grapes. It will create a sacred intention, prepare you consciously & sub-consciously to find your people, & point you towards your true home”
I love Dr. Greger’s information and how he breaks everything down from actual analyzed data. He’s all about focusing on nutrition for healing, and these two videos are very informative for those with eczema. In reading my blog, you all know how adamant I am about having ahealthy plant-based dietfor great overall health and healthy skin. His info just solidifies the recommendations that I give. I have personally seen and felt the benefits of eating a vegan whole food diet, and I highly recommend it for those needing to heal from eczema.
“Dermatologists and Pediatricians have for many years denied the role of food in eczema, even though as many as 80% of kids may benefit from cutting out milk and or eggs” -Dr.Greger
Dairy is scary, avoid it like the plague, especially if you have eczema, it’s highly inflammatory, acidic, hard to digest and mucus causing. There are TONS of non-dairy alternatives out there such as rice, oat, flax, hemp, almond, coconut, cashew & more! Check out this simple recipe for hemp milk. Simply blend in a high-speed blender & strain with a nut milk bag if you think it needs it! You can use a few dates as a sweetener or maple syrup or coconut sugar! Here’s some info about hemp seeds: These wonderful healing seeds are packed with all 20 amino acids, are high in protein (which is great for vegans & vegetarians) and are full of vitamin E & fatty acids which are great for skin health! Hemp also has phytonutrients, which are the disease-protective element of plants with benefits that protect your immunity, bloodstream, tissues, cells, skin, and organs. 💚#eczemaholistichealing
16 Ways to Combat Eczema Itch with Natural Eczema Treatments
I recently did a guest post for Prime Physique Nutrition on the awful eczema itch and ways that we can help the symptoms. Shout to Abby for letting me contribute to her wonderful website!
Healing from the inside out is most important when tacking eczema and all of the horrendous symptoms that come along with it. Focusing on diet and detoxification is key, I cannot stress it enough. When the body is cleansed from the inside out and in a more alkaline state, the diseases we are plagued with cannot thrive! 🙂

Additional Info with the Guest Post:
The Calming Bath Treatment is mentioned in number 4 in the post and I personally find it very soothing when I soak with it. It leaves the skin smooth and hydrated because of the healthy, natural moisturizing ingredients in it.
The Conqueror Soothing Dry Skin Balm is mentioned in number 7 and I also loves this product as it smells divine, gives the skin a well-hydrated feel without feeling too heavy. and a little goes a long way with it.
Essential oils are mentioned in number 16 and I have a blog post where I specifically talk about the natural antihistamine blend HERE with my store site link in the post as well. I love this blend and product because of how effective it is and how it always gives me a calming relief in such a short time. It can really knock out any allergy issues and calm down an itch fest. Another blend that is effective is my Sleepy Time Diffuser Blend which can give calming relief and restful sleep. Diffusing that blend and taking the natural antihistamine blend is like a one-two punch for effective rest for eczema sufferers.
