The word is getting out about the dangers of topical steroids! Unfortunately this show is notorious for editing important info and not really giving the guests enough time to speak, but either way, this fellow TSW warrior Briana’s story was put out on national television for all to see! It’s a horrific withdrawal process, that can easily be avoided by dermatologists not prescribing these poisonous creams in the first place & getting to the root cause of the eczema. I hope this segment will resonate with the viewers, they’ll do their research and take the steps to getting their health back like I and countless warriors have done! “I am incredibly thankful to everyone who reached out and gave me strength through this process. This was the scariest, most vulnerable thing I’ve done in my life. It isn’t easy seeing yourself on TV with a *viewer discretion advised* sign because of how badly I have been affected by my health condition. I wanted to help a suffering cause that I am a part of when I was offered a chance to speak out about my personal battle on national television. I am very thankful to The Doctors and their producers for giving me this chance. I did my best to represent the TSW community. Was part of it edited for their purposes? Of course. Is MRSA the cause of my pain? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I will be making my own video statement about this segment soon and what I hope others have taken from it. Topical Steroid Withdrawal will be a growing issue if the medical community doesn’t start calling it like it is and taking responsibility for the consequences that come with over prescribing medication to patients. I am hoping to be called back to the show once I am fully healed to truly drive home how important it is to ask questions, do your research, be prepared in a doctor’s office, and how you CAN recover from this without the use of more steroids. Topical Steroid Withdrawal is something that can be completely avoided, as well as many other iatrogenic conditions.
I am but one voice that was trying to speak out for us sufferers. All we can do is keep trying to spread awareness regardless of how people wish to spin our pain.”

Eczema Holistic Healing 
So was she just lying at the end of the segment when they asked her how it felt to finally have the missing pieces and understand what was going on? She seemed quite overjoyed in giving her reply at the time. Very odd to see this response now. It’s enough to question someone’s character. Also odd because it was proven that this young lady has MRSA and now she’s saying this wasn’t the problem? MRSA can cause many, many problems. I hope this young lady understands that and gets it addressed or she will face far worse problems than her skin.

I feel for this woman but MRSA is MRSA. The doctors did a culture so not sure why she is disputing that now? Of course MRSA can cause all of her pain and discomfort. It’s a very painful bacterial infection. I do hope she gets her skin under control soon.

I think that she was just disappointed that they didn’t focus more on the root cause of her symptoms which was the withdrawal symptoms from the steroids. They didn’t speak much at all about topical steroids and the harm that it can cause and the side effects one can experience when coming off of it. This is of course “The Doctors” which is most likely financed by big pharma and the meat and dairy industry, so their info will most likely always be skewed to benefit themselves and not get out the real truth of the matter.
It’s kind of like they just placed MRSA as the issue for all of the side effects that she was going through. It’s kinda similar to when I would go to the doctor for skin issues with oozing skin etc and the first thing they want to give me is a round of antibiotics when it really wasn’t infection but just lymph fluid being expelled because my body was trying to detox. So many TSW folks go to the doctor and the only thing they know how to prescribe is antibiotics.

Great post Jen and awesome job Briana! The public needs to know how dangerous long term use of topical steroids are, even if the doctors don’t want us to know the truth. I wish they would have focused more on topical steroid addiction rather than MRSA, which was just a side effect of the tsw. Either way, the word is getting out!!
Yes, she did an awesome job and I too am glad that the word is getting out! I’m sure the the right info resonated with some of the viewers and hopefully they will ditch the steroids too! 🙂
