This sale is good until 9/30 & you can click HERE, my personal affiliate link to learn more and purchase if you’re interested!

The consistency of juice is perfect and so smooth and the clean up is super easy! It’s important to get a low-speed juicer as it ensures that the juice doesn’t oxidize and heat up where vital enzymes and nutrients can be lost. Juicing has been such a huge tool in my healing process as it’s super important to get lots of hydration from the alkaline goodness that are in plants! Juicing allows healing from the inside out because you’re getting a great dose of dense nutrients to help hydrate the old waste in the body, cleanse and heal! I notice when I juice more consistently and get a good quantity in daily, my skin feels much softer and hydrated. I love to do celery juice or a green drink first thing in the morning, then move on to a fruit juice like my current fave, organic Fuji apple, and lime!

Fave Green Drank These Days

🌿🌱🍃This “Green Drank” has been giving me life these days! So rich in vitamins, minerals and dense nutrition – it’s like my cells are getting a huge hug when I drink it 😂. I 💚 to keep it simple and just add a few ingredients – all organic: kale, apple, turmeric, ginger, cilantro, parsley & lemon! 🍋 Kinda gross…but I I’ve noticed that even before I’m done drinking it, my nose starts dripping and mucus starts to pull out of my throat. The antibacterial & anti-inflammatory properties in this drink are 💥POWERFUL💥, and it’s super alkaline which is what our bodies need to heal – the alkaline nutrients from plants. “Dis-ease cannot thrive in an alkaline environment”. The chlorophyll (basically the “plant blood” in veggies) are great for the body for healing. When I juice the kale I do the stems as well, it makes it a bit more potent but there are great nutrients in all of the plant, (do the same with the stems and leaves from beets & other veggies too!) I do the same with the ginger and turmeric, I don’t even peel it, just throw it in the juicer. Cilantro & parsley are great at detoxing heavy metals in the body, which is crucial for people healing from eczema. This is the juicer I use & love: Omega vsj843r Low-Speed Juicer and my personal affiliate link to get it if you’re interested: CLICK HERE

Dry Brushing!

Have you ever heard about dry brushing? It’s super simple, cheap and takes only 5 minutes to do and it can really transform the integrity of the skin and help detoxify you from the inside out!

DID YOU KNOW….Your skin is the largest organ of elimination in the human body?? One third of your body’s toxins are excreted through the skin and dry brushing helps to unclog pores, slough off dead skin flakes and excrete toxins that become trapped in the skin.

I highly recommend adopting dry brushing in your daily routine, especially when going through the TSW healing process as you can accumulate and shed a ton of dead skin. It’s great to do on dry skin, but definitely be careful if the skin is oozing, red, raised and angry…you do not want to dry brush on these areas as it will make it worse. Only dry brush on dry flaky areas and gently-lightly dry brush certain areas that are more fragile and dry. Other areas that are dry but the skin seems stronger, you can brush a little bit harder.

To get started, follow the simple steps below:

1. Purchase a natural (not synthetic) bristle brush, the kind I use comes from cactus and vegetable fibers. I prefer the brush with the fabric handle attached, but there are also brushes with a long handle so can reach all areas of your body.

2. Get naked and stand in a bathtub or tiled surface to catch the falling skin.

3. Begin brushing by starting at your feet and moving in long sweeping motions toward your heart. Always brush toward your heart.

4. Brush several times in each area, overlapping as you go.

5. Take care as you brush over more sensitive areas, like breasts. Your skin will become less sensitive the more you dry brush.

6. Once you’ve brushed your entire body, jump in the shower. (I like to alternate between the hottest water temperature I can tolerate and the coldest at the very end of my shower. This stimulates the lymphatic system and stimulates blood circulation, bringing more blood to the top layers of the skin. Alternating between hot and cold also strengthens the immune system.)

7. After getting out of the shower, pat dry the skin and apply a natural organic oils and butters like coconut oil, jojoba, cocoa butter and mango seed butter. There is also an antioxidant rich organic micro blue green algae lotion that I like to use called Nutrabeautiful. You can find it HERE at my personal store site. You can see customer reviews on the lotion HERE.

8. Continue to dry brush your entire body every day. Twice a day is recommended for best results. Remember to clean your brush with soap and water once a week. I use a natural soap like Dr.Bronners Unscented liquid soap. Leave the brush to dry in a clean, sunny spot to avoid any mildew accumulation on your brush.

Try this for 30 days and see the results for yourself!

Some benefits of dry skin brushing:

1. You’ll exfoliate dead skin.

Instead of using an in-shower loofah and body scrubs, do dry brushing… this will ensure you have silky-smooth skin all year round!

2. It stimulates your lymphatic system.

Dry brushing your skin will kick start your lymphatic system (the sewer system of the body), which helps you remove toxins from the body. The stiffer the bristles on the brush, the better the lymphatic stimulation you’ll create.

3. Dry brushing helps to reduce cellulite.

Cellulite is simply toxic materials that have accumulated in your body’s fat cells and are trapped, unable to be eliminated from the body. Dry skin brushing helps to break down any trapped toxins from within the body and help your body eliminate them through its usual elimination channels.

4. It unclogs pores and de-congests skin.

Dry skin brushing unclogs your skins pores and helps your skin absorb more nutrients. Daily skin brushing promotes healthy, breathing skin. So make sure to pamper the largest organ in our bodies!

Using Bentonite Clay

“Put Some Dirt On It”😂

My legs & feet have always been my worst areas in my eczema recovery & when they start to feel a bit irritated, I bring out my trusty Bentonite Clay to give my skin some much needed attention. I apply this to dry skin, not full on oozing skin. I had some flaky areas with small dried oozed spots. My philosophy with oozing skin is to let it dry up on its own & work on deeper cleansing methods with food & natural remedies.

Here’s some info about this healing clay: Bentonite clay comes from volcanic ash & some of the largest sources of it are found in Fort Benton, Wyoming.

✅It is packed with trace minerals including calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron & potassium.

✅The magic lies in how it draws out the toxins & impurities in the skin (& internally when ingested) as it has the ability to produce a charge that is electrical in nature when it comes in contact with liquid, similar to how earthing (touching your bare feet to the earth; wet grass) works. When the clay touches any type of fluid (normally water), it takes on a different charge & binds to any present toxins within the fluid. When mixed with water & left to dry on the skin as a mask, it is able to bind to bacteria & toxins living on the surface of the skin & within pores. This helps to reduce the outbreak of blemishes, alleviate redness, fights against allergic reactions and even helps heal poison ivy.

✅It can act as an antibiotic treatment when applied to the skin, helping to calm skin infections, & speed up healing time of wounds.

🔹TIP: I mix 2 parts water to 1 part clay, & I use a ceramic bowl and mix with my fingers. You DON’T want to mix with metal utensils & a metal bowl as it is said that it will de-activate the magnetic charge needed to pull out the toxins. Also if you’ve been scratching the area pretty badly, applying the clay can burn. You want to let it sit about 20 min, until it’s dry, wash & pat dry. Afterwards I applied my DIY mix of coconut oil x frankincense eo x helichrysum eo for anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, discolouration & skin healing properties.

Preventable: Protecting Our Largest Organ Documentary!

Have you seen the new documentary about eczema, topical steroid addiction and withdrawal? It’s called Preventable: Protecting Our Largest Organ and its a must watch and share! Briana has worked so hard at bringing this documentary to fruition and it’s awesome that we can give back for her efforts with the GoFundMe set up for her below! This documentary brought up so many emotions for me, it brought me back to the worst stages of my own topical steroid withdrawal process. There’s so much that the medical community needs to know about eczema and how dangerous these medications are to our health. I know that this doc is going to prevent so many from going down the awful path that thousands have gone down with these medications. This dis-ease is preventable, and steroids are not the answer, there are ways to naturally heal from the inside out…steroids only act as a band-aid and a temporary solution. Please watch, and share with anyone you know using steroids, who has eczema and those in the dermatology field. If you can, please donate to Brianna for all of her hard work and sacrifice. I see the passion that she put into this project and she deserves our support.

Change Your Speech!

🌈Just thought of this today and wanted to share to give encouragement and a different perspective in the eczema recovery process.🌈

Having a positive, faithful mindset is so important when recovering from dis-ease. The body is so amazing at self healing, we just have to give it the right environment to thrive…alkaline plant based foods, hydration, sunlight, rest, exercise, loving words of affirmation and the right positive attitude. By saying faithful words we allow our subconscious to accept the idea that we WILL be free of dis-ease.

🌟Saying “I’m healing from eczema” tells our mind that the healing is taking place NOW! We must say the things that we want, call it into existence before it has been manifested…”I am healed”, “my skin is smooth, supple, healthy, wrinkle and symptoms free”…speak these words into existence over and over…train your mind to believe it before you see it! So when you talk to someone and they see symptoms showing up on your skin, instead of saying, “ I have eczema” say “I’M HEALING FROM ECZEMA”! Don’t own that dis-ease, stir up your faith and own the freedom of recovering from the dis-ease! 💚

Storing Herbs

💚I love having fresh herbs on hand in my kitchen, and this is the best way I’ve found in storing them! 🌿🌱🍃☘️

Simply cut off the bottoms, place in a glass cup with water and keep it in the front of the fridge. If the herbs go too far to the back they can get too cold…I’ve had herbs get accidentally pushed back too far and then when I looked for them the leaves were frozen! 😟 This simple method can keep your herbs fresh for weeks, just keep replenishing the water very few days 👍🏽. I have cilantro pictured here and I love to use it in my guacamole, salads, curries, green juices (check out the juicer I love to use HERE), soups and cooking where cilantro is called in the recipe.

Cilantro is a heavy metal detoxifier, rich in antioxidants, and has vitamins such as: vitamin A, C, K & B vitamins and minerals such as: potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, and magnesium! I also love to use parsley, mint, basil, thyme, oregano and more! What are your fave herbs to use?

Fresh Pressed OJ!

🍊🍊🍊Orange x Beet x Ginger x Turmeric Juice! 🤩

This blend is soooo delicious y’all! So I freshly pressed 4 oranges (got about 16 oz) and in my vitamix I blended up half a small beet with a knob of ginger and turmeric with a little bit of water, strained it, and then added to my 🍊orange juice! I definitely saved the pulp from the beet blend and guess what…I added it to my smoothie later on of wild blueberries x dark red cherries🍒 x bananas🍌 and water….OMG it tastes amazing! Don’t waste that goodness, just throw it in a smoothie! Super rich in anti-inflammatory properties and dense nutrition!

😍 DID YOU KNOW…”The Curcumin in Turmeric is the component that contains phytochemical compounds that calm the liver, resulting in fewer spasms. It helps to prepare & purify the blood before it enters the liver so that blood arrives with fewer toxins. Its healing properties ignite healing heat in a stagnant, sluggish liver resulting in less disease” info from The Medical Medium
